Building Defects and Non Compliant Inspection Report
If you are a home owner or strata managers of an apartment block which holds builder’s warranty, it is strongly recommended that an inspection report is carried out on the building before the end of the warranty period (6 or 7 years) depending on when the building was completed, to identify any building defects that your original builder is obligated to rectify.
If the original builder has gone into liquidation or is no longer trading then you can lodge a claim for Home Warranty Insurance providing you are within your insurance period.
